If you have submitted an application for educator certification through the New York State Education Department, you may want to check the status of your application. This guide will help you understand how to obtain the latest updates on your application status.
Step 1: Log into your TEACH account.
Step 2: Select Account Information.
Step 3: Highlight all of the categories so you can see your full account.
Step 4: Determine your application status:
Not Ready for Review- This means your application is unpaid or we have not received documentation to support your application yet.
Ready for Review- This means TEACH may have checked off some requirements but an OTI staff evaluator must complete the evaluation. It also means it is in line for evaluation.
Review Complete Pending Information- This means your application has been evaluated. Scroll down to Correspondence and look for the Notice of Uncompleted Requirements. This notice will outline any deficiencies and how to resolve them.
